The meeting of leaders of Jewish organizations with Austrian Chancellor Julius Raab on Jewish claims against Austria, which was to have taken place today, was postponed until tomorrow when the Jewish delegation representing major Jewish organizations in the United States, Britain and France, will also pay a courtesy call on the Austrian President, Dr. Theodore Koerner.
The members of the delegation, headed by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, met in the meantime today with the French and the British Ambassadors here and are scheduled to meet with the U.S. Ambassador tomorrow. In a broadcast over the Vienna radio they told the Austrian people that a speedy and efficient settlement of the Jewish material claims against Austria is in the interest of their country as well as in the interest of victims of the Nazi regime in Austria.
