A group of Jewish leaders will tender a testizenial dinner to Dr. Abba Hillel Silver for his successful leadership of the Jewish cause before the U.N. The dinner will take place Dec. 29, on the eve of Dr. Silver’s departure for Palestine.
Among the members of the sponsoring committee for the testimonial are Dr. ##anuel Neumann, president of the Zionist Organization of America; Dr. Israel Goldstein, national president of the United Palestine Appeal; former Gov. Herbert H. Lehman; and Herbert Bayard Swope, prominent civic leader.
