In order to meet the needs of Jewish organizations, the Globe Lecture Bureau has been launched in this city, at 132 Nassau Street, under the directorship of Rabbi J. Max Weis.
It will be the purpose of this Bureau to bring to the attention of the Jewish and general public the foremost Jewish speakers on questions of Jewish importance. There has been a great demand on the part of non-Jewish organizations also for speakers on problems of Jewish importance.
Rabbi Weis, in announcing the launching of the Bureau stated: “We regard the Globe Lecture Bureau as one of the most potent influences for the education of the American public as well as American Jewry, in particular upon questions that concern the Jew.
“We hope to bring to this country, in the very near future, some of the ablest Jewish thinkers from abroad to supplement our own Jewish leaders and publicists.”
