The Endek anti-Semites today began an Easter boycott against Jewish merchants in the city. Members of the organization distributed large numbers of leaflets appealing to the population to “buy from Gentiles.”
The Endeks are the National Democrats, an opposition political party whose chief planks are anti-Semitism and opposition to the Pilsudski regime. They have maintained a continuous offensive against the Polish Jews.
Even when the Pilsudski regime forced through parliament a new constitution which the Endeks disliked they showed their dissatisfaction through riots against the Jews in widely scattered cities in Poland.
