Plans for expansion of the work of the Jewish Culture League, headed by Dr. Kurt Singer, to embrace all Jewish cultural units in the country, were explained by Hans Wilhelm Steinberg, musical director of the League, at a gathering of press representatives here.
“In addition to the central administration in Berlin,” he said, “administrations will be set up in all important Jewish centers. The executive of the League will have ten to twelve members who are to include representatives of the Jewish communities, a group of promotors consisting of representatives of the Jewish communities and collaborators in special branches of the work.”
The plans will require the Jewish citizenry of Frankfort to work in conjunction with Cologne. “An exchange system of artists is planned, and the League is hoping to have leading artists and actors perform. Training studios and courses for young people will be introduced.
