Dr. Kurt Singer, president of the Jewish Culture League, speaking at a meeting of the League held at the Saalbau here, said that centralization of Jewish cultural work in Germany has received approval of the Theatre Chamber and State Police.
“The road is now open,” said Dr. Singer, “for an economic exchange of artists and other collaborators, but there will be no attempt to interfere with the autonomous administration of the various Culture Leagues by any organized unification.
“This last year the German Jews have been forced to acknowledge their own color. They were bow faced with the task, cleansed by the experiences of suffering, to work and build as Jews, as Germans and as human beings for the coming generations.”
