For the first time since it was composed in the eleventh century, the Jewish liturgical poem, “Akdamoth,” was broadcast over the air today.
The poem, which is part of the synagogue service for the festival of Shabuoth, observed today, was composed by Meyer Hachazan in Worms, Germany.
