The first issue of a Jewish semi-monthly magazine in the Russian language made its appearance here under the name of “Zarya” (The Dawn), edited by Michael Berchin-Benediktov and Isidor Frankel. The publication contains articles on the extermination of European Jewry, on Jewish representation at the peace Conference, on the tragedy of the Jewish children, on Jewish emigration from Europe, and also extensive reports from the occupied countries.
