Hyman Miller, a leading member of the Jewish community of this city, was today installed as Mayor of Johannesburg at a ceremony at City Hall.
Mayor Miller, who was deputy mayor last year, is 45, one of the youngest mayors in the city’s history. He is a vice-chairman of the South African Jewish Board of Education and is a member of numerous Jewish and non-Jewish civic organizations.
