The New York Board of Jewish Ministers has adopted a resolution urging the support of people of all faiths in the campaign of the American Christian Committee for Refugees, it was announced today. The resolution was signed by Rabbi Samuel Levinson, president, and Rabbi William F. Rosenblum and Moses Hyamson.
“Not alone because of the Christian help, both spiritual and material, which has been extended to the Jewish organizations, which have been working for the relief and assistance of the Jewish refugees from persecution, but because of our natural interest in the preservation of liberal ideals and in defending those who espouse them, as well as in the alleviation of all suffering, the New York Board of Jewish Ministers will be glad to cooperate with you, in so far as it is within the power of its members to help,” the resolution said.
