The International Synagogue, sponsored at Idlewild International Airport by the New York Board of Rabbis, will contain a Jewish museum, it was reported today.
The museum would include a section on religious art created in the United States and a section with contemporary objects and documents salvaged after the Nazi occupation in east Europe. Construction of the $300,000 synagogue on a site leased from the Port of New York Authority will begin early in 1960.
