Jewish officials, survivors and politicians commemorated the 62nd anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The main part of Tuesday’s commemoration took place at the monument in Warsaw honoring those who resisted the Nazis beginning on April 19, 1943, after they heard the ghetto was to be liquidated.
