Jewish organizations briefed U.S. senators on the rise of anti-Semitism on college campuses. The Anti-Defamation League reported 106 anti-Semitic incidents on campus in 2002, a 24 percent increase from the previous year, at a special meeting Wednesday of the Senate Republican Conference. Jewish groups invited to the meeting, which had been requested by senators, offered varied views.
