A 32-page summary of the Kerner Commission report on civil disorders, has been published here under the joint sponsorship of 23 religious, civil rights and labor organizations. The pamphlet was proposed originally by the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith and the American Jewish Committee, both of which are among the sponsoring organizations. It will be available from any of them as a public service and as an aid in planning projects in support of the Kerner Commission’s recommendations.
Other Jewish organizations sponsoring the pamphlet are the American Jewish Congress, the National Council of Jewish Women, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and the United Synagogue of America.
