Sh. Rosin, Jewish secretary of the Soviet in the village of Borovoje, in the Koidanov region, was shot to death yesterday when a number of Jewish peasants opposing collectivization fired several shots at him in the dark. Sh. Besman, Jewish chairman of the Soviet in the same village, narrowly escaped a similar fate when shots were fired at him, too. A number of the peasants have been arrested.
