Establishment of a Chair in Human Relations at Brandeis University in memory of the late Atlanta communal leader I.M. Weinstein was announced today by University officials. The chair was made possible by a grant to the University by A.J. Weinberg and Joseph Jacobs, Jewish philanthropists of Atlanta, Ga.
“The Weinstein Chair in Human Relations is a fitting memorial to the late I.M. Weinstein who for many years has been a beloved figure in communal and philanthropic activities in Atlanta,” Dr. Sachar, president of Brandeis University declared. “This new chair will enable the University to stimulate objective research and instruction in a most important area of study.”
