The Army has confirmed the reinstatement of Allan G. Weisner, 29-year-old physicist employed by the Army at Forth Monmouth, New Jersey, who was one of 22 employees suspended during a security investigation resulting from charges by Sen. Joseph R. McCarthy that the Army was lax in its handling of security matters at the Fort.

The Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, which took an interest in the case because the vast majority of the suspended workers were Jews, had asked the Army to investigate whether anti-Semitism had played a part in the matter. Mr. Weisner’s attorney stated that his client had been suspended and reinstated three times on charges questioning the loyalty of his father.
