The only Jewish bagpipe band in the world has been invited here to play during the King’s Silver Jubilee celebrations. It is the band of the Glasgow Jewish Lads Brigade Cadet Corps, formed in 1908.
On May 5 the Jewish bagpipers will take part in an inspection and parade, when Field Marshal Viscount Allenby will take the salute.
