The Jewish population of Bavaria is decreasing according to figures published here. The Jewish population was 49,163, as against 54,777 on December 1st, 1910, a decrease of 5614, in spite of the natural increase during the past fifeen years, according to the figures which were published by the “Bayerische Israelische Gemeindezeitung.” The Jewish communities containing more than 1,000 members are Munich City, 10,000 (in 1910, 11,083) : Munich District, 10,687 (11,550) ; Ludwigshafen. 1,241 (783) ; Fuerth, 2504 (2,826); Nuremberg. 8,603 (7,815) ; Wnerzberg, 2261 (2,514) ; and Angsburg, 1,203 (1,217).
