From September 1, 1929 to July 31, 1930. 5,671 Jews entered Palestne, including 4,663 who came in on immigration certificates, according to figures made public today by the Jewish Agency. The Jewish immigrants included 700 from Yemen and 458 Russians. The Jewish Agency’s figures show that the Jewish population of Palestine is now 172,000, or twenty percent of the total.
