Many of the problems in handling children in wartime emergency in the Jewish religious schools of New York City were discussed yesterday at the first civilian defense meeting of principals and head teachers of Jewish Weekday Schools and Sunday Schools, under the auspices of the Jewish Education Committee. Over two hundred Jewish educators attended the meeting, presided over by Dr. Alexander M. Dushkin, Executive Director of the Jewish Education Committee.
