Private Harry Goldstein, U.S.A., of New York, can claim the honor of being the first Jew to whom the keys of an ancient English Bishop’s palace have been surrendered.
Goldstein received the keys yesterday in his capacity as chairman of a soldiers’ committee which arranged the presentation ceremonies at which the palace, which is at Norwich, was turned over to the American Red Cross as a servicemen’s club. The building was erected in 1096.
