The Rev. A. W. Gottschall, pastor of the First Christian Church here and regional secretary of the Middle Atlantic Area of the Religious Education Association, is arranging a conference among Jews, Catholics and Protestants, November 20 and 21 at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa.
The speakers will be Rabbi Abram Simon, of the Washington Hebrew Congregation, Washington, to represent Jews; the Rev. F. Fay Murphy, Georgetown University, Washington, representing the Catholics, and Dr. George W. Richards, president of the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Church in the United States, Lancaster, Pa., to represent Protestants.
The problem to be considered will be “The Extent of Discrimination and What We Can Do About It.” The session will be held in cooperation with the National Conference of Jews and Christians of New York City.
