Additional Jewish refugee children in Europe and in Palestine will share in relief and reconstructive activities maintained by United Jewish Appeal agencies through the contribution made to the U.J.A. and received on its behalf by National Co-Chairman Edward M.M. Warburg from the $135,000 fund contributed by school children throughout the United States to the Children’s Crusade for Children.
At special ceremonies held at the home of President and Mrs. Roosevelt at Hyde Park last week, Warburg received a share of the fund whose other beneficiaries are young refugee children of France England China Holland, Belgium, Poland and Finland. The child care organizations CENTOS and OSE, supported by the Joint Distribution Committee are to benefit from the contribution.
