A Jewish refugee from Czechoslovakia is likely to succeed Dr. Albert Schweitzer as head of the medical mission at Lambarene in the Gabon Republic, according to a prediction yesterday by the head of the Religious Heritage of America.
The refugee, Dr. Richard Friedmann,is a 38-year-old physician on the staff of the Schweitzer hospital. He was mentioned as a possible successor to Dr, Schweitzer by Lisle M. Ramsey, director of the .organization who recently made an eight-week tour of Africa.
