The aid given them by the Joint Distribution Committee during long months of internment in refugee camps in Switzerland and in North Africa was lauded here today by the 500 Jewish refugees who arrived in Haifa last night. The transportation of these refugees to Palestine was also financed by the Joint Distribution Committee.
