Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi Germany were among those subjected by the Australian army to medical experimentation during World War II, according to Australian newspaper reports Monday. The refugees who participated in the experiments, conducted at the request of British and U.S. drug companies seeking a cure for malaria, were volunteers for the Australian army who were not permitted to see active duty.
