Jewish refugees mistreated by Switzerland during the Holocaust began receiving compensation. Ninety-five people — expelled or turned away at the Swiss border, or abused in Swiss refugee camps — received the payments Monday from a Swiss fund. The Claims Conference plans to make more payments as it processes nearly 4,400 applications.
