Jewish Relief Drive Launched in Uruguay

A drive for Jewish war relief funds was launched last night at a large public gathering. British Ambassador Millington Drake attended the gathering, held in one of the largest theaters here. The ambassador greeted the audience in behalf of the British Government and expressed hope that the campaign would be success ful. M. Regalski, editor of the Yiddishe Zeitung of Buenos Aires, and Dr. Jose Pedro Cardoso, member of the Uruguayan Congress, were among the other speakers.
