Dr. William Filderman, Deputy, and Senators Horia Karp and Dr. Jacoby have registered in parliament as a separate group, under the name of the Union of Roumanian Jews.

The cabinet has appointed a sub-eommission to deal with the students’ question in the country. This commission is composed of Minister of Education Anghelescu, Minister of Justice Popescu and Minister of the Interior Tatarescu.

The “Monitorul,” official organ of the government, states that at the cabinet sitting of May 23, naturalization was granted to Rabbi Chaim Schor. Schor had demanded the right to be the senator representing the Jewish faith instead of Rabbi Niemirower. It is now disclosed, the paper states, that Rabbi Schor was not a Roumanian citizen and was therefore ineligible for this post.
