Jewish school children crowded the city council chambers yesterday to protest the massacre of Jewish children by the Nazis in Poland and other occupied countries. They requested that Mayor Kelly transmit their demand to President Roosevelt that the United Nations take steps to save Jewish children in other countries from Hitler’s systematic extermination. The demonstration was sponsored by the Jewish Labor Committee of Chicago.
