A Jewish member of the Brazilian Senate, Aaron Steinbruch, was nominated to run for the Vice-Presidency of Brazil in the forthcoming national elections.

He was nominated to run for the Vice Presidency by a faction which had split away from President Goulart’s Brazilian Worker’s Party.
