Jewish settlers set up encampments at two West Bank sites, just days after Israel made a further redeployment from the West Bank. Settlers gathered on a hilltop near the settlement of Itamar, saying they wanted to expand the community. Meanwhile, the Israeli army sealed off an area around a train station near Sebastian after some young settlers raised Israeli flags there. Settlement leaders affected by Israel’s recent redeployment say security plans for their communities are insufficient.
