Miss Miriam R. Ephraim of New York, a pioneer in the field of inter-cultural education, was elected today president of the National Conference for Jewish Communal Service by some 2,000 delegates at the 59th annual meeting here of the organization. Miss Ephraim, third woman president in the history of NCJCS, directs the program section of the National Jewish Welfare Board’s Jewish Community Center Division.
