Columbia Broadcasting System’s short-wave listening station heard the Nazi-controlled Amsterdam radio broadcast a program of popular songs played on a piano. The last number of the program was “Bei Mir Bist du Sehoen,” written by the Jewish composer, Sholom Secunda, and taken from an old Jewish melody.
