A society known as “The Jewish Sons of Erin” composed of Irish-born Jews has been organized here, with a membership of 18. The group’s organizing secretary Bernard Morris, said aim of the society is to act as a “hospitality committee” to Irish Jews who either visit or want to settle in the Montreal area. It also aims to work for charity and to organize social and cultural programs for members.
