Highly skilled Jewish research and production specialists in Slovak sugar factories are now paid the same wage as Jewish laborers, according to information reaching Czechoslovak circles here.
The reduction in wages resulted from a visit to one of the largest Slovak factories by Minister of the Interior, Sano Mach. At this factory he found that a large number of Jews were still employed at high salaries. Since the Jewish specialists could not be replaced, Mach ordered that they be retained but that their salaries be cut to the level of an ordinary worker.
