The Jewish State Theatre at Jassy, Rumania, has just celebrated its fifth anniversary by presenting its 1,000th performance, the Rumanian Legation here announced today. The announcement declared that during the five years the troupe presented 26 different Yiddish plays, five of which were from the classical Yiddish repertoire.
