Jewish students at Poznan University, returning to classes after staying home for a week on the advice of university officials, were again attacked today and routed from the medical and pharmacy schools by nationalistic students.
Police were stationed around the building to prevent further disturbances aimed against the 85 Jewish students of the university, whose student body numbers 5,000. Last week, when the Jewish students appealed to university officials to take action to halt the disturbances, they were told to stay at home until the agitation blew over.
