Hundreds of anti-Semitic students attacked Jewish students in the University hall shouting. “Out with the Jews.” They also destroyed the University bullerm boards, beat Jewish students and attempted to throw them from the first story windows.

The rector of the University in trying to defend the Jewish students, was insulted. Police finally arrived and arrested six of the anti-Semitic rioters. The outburst was due to the rector’s prohibiting a poster announcing a ball of anti-Semitic students which was wrongly announced as a University ball.
