Two Jewish students have broken the academic record in the University of Montana, with Morris Silver, a sophomore premedical student, taking the honors by setting a new scholarship mark. Silver, carrying twenty-five hours of academic work, earned seventy grade points, thereby breaking Eveline Blumenthal’s record of sixty-nine grade points established last fall, when Silver had taken second place.
