Jewish students have gained four out of five places in the high school leaving examinations held at the high achools of this city, according to an announcement by Dr. W. P. Percival, Director of Protestant Education in the Province of Quebec. Jacob Starr, of first with 836 points out of a possible 1,000, followed by three other Baron Byng Jewish boys, Moses Resin, Abie Rosen and Howard Solomon.
