August Dreyer, 50-year-old Polish-born Jewish teacher, who was arrested on his arrival from Danzig yesterday on suspicion of passport fraud, was found dead in his jail cell today, hanging from his belt.
Dreyer, who arrived on the Polonia yesterday, entered on a tourist visa. He had $8,500 in cash and a big library.
