An agreement has been concluded between the Palestine Arab Executive and the Arab Opposition to convoke the Seventh Palestine Arab Congress, according to a report published by the Arab paper “Al Zamer.”
The agreement, the paper writes, consists of:
(1) Appointment of a Central Committee of four representing the Arab Executive. The seat of this Committee will be at Jerusalem. Sub-committees will be established in all parts of Palestine to carry out the elections to the Congress.
(2) Five thousand persons of the age of 20 and upward will be entitled to elect a delegate. Candidates may not be under the age of 25.
(3) The total number of delegates will be 70, distributed among the various electoral districts.
