During the month of November. 11 boats arrived at the Port of Quebec, bringing 4,230 passengers of all nationalities for Canada. Of these the Jewish passengers numbered 178 or approximately 4.21 per cent, consisting of 61 men, 77 women and 40 children.
The Jewish arrivals’ destinations in the provinces were: 85 Quebec, 67 Ontario. 8 Manitoba, 8 British Columbia. 7 Saskatchewan, 2 Alberta and 1 to Nova Scotia.
