The deadline for the submission of manuscripts to the 10th annual Golden Pen Playwriting Contest sponsored by the Jewish Theater for Children here has been extended to September 20, 1966, it was announced here today by Dr. Samuel Citron, executive secretary of the contest. A prize of $1,000 is offered for the best full-length play for children in English on a Jewish theme and prize-winning manuscripts are given a professional production.
