The Jewish Theatrical News, the first paper of its kind ever attempted, devoted to the interests of the American stage and screen will make its debut on October 1. The paper, a semi-monthly will be under the editorship of Aaron Singer. It will have for its purpose the reporting of what American Jews are doing towards the development of the arts and the industries associated with motion pictures, the stage and music.
The publication will also give to its readers foreign theatrical news, with especial emphasis on items of Jewish interest and of the development of art and music in Palestine.
The advisory board of the publication includes: David Belascc, Irving Berlin, Rev. Dr/ Joel Plau, Ernest Bloch, Hon. Sol Bloom, Hon. Abram I. Elkus, Morris Gest, Monroe Goldstein, Sam H/ Harris, Julius Kendler, Rev. Dr. Clinton H. Levy, Sophie Irene Loeb, and Josiah Zuro.
