Dr. Louis J. Finkelstein, president of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, yesterday received an honorary degree of Doctor of Letters from Boston University.
The degree was conferred on Dr. Finkelstein by Boston University President Daniel L. Marsh at the institution’s Founders’ Day Convention. The Seminary head, one of the featured speakers at the exercises, spoke on “Religion and Educational Tensions.”
