A ten-volume history of the Jewish people will be published by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America as a memorial to the late Sol M. Strook, former chairman of the Seminary’s Board of Directors, it was announced here today.
Dr. Louis Finkelstein, chancellor of the Seminary, said that the work on the project has already begun. It is expected that the entire project will be completed over a five-year period, with two volumes appearing each year. The editors of the two volumes will be Prof. W.F. Albright, Alexander Marx and Dr. Finkelstein.
