Baruch Lipschitz, a Jewish unemployed worker. committed suicide in the building of the Polish Ministry of Public Works yesterday.
Lipschitz came to the Ministry in search of work. When he was told that none was available he drew a revolver and shot himself.
A commission under the leadership of M. Milnarski, vice – president of the National Bank of Poland, has left for the United States in the hope of negotiating a loan, a despatch from Warsaw states. The delegation includes M. Krzanowsky. president of the committee formed to consider Professor Edwin Kemmerer’s recent report on Polish finances. He will conter upon Protessor Kemmerer the high Polish order “Polonia Restituta.”
The commission is hopeful of getting a loan but not before several months.
